Executive Director

The client is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Executive Director to serve as the chief executive officer and lead the organization into its next phase of growth and impact. This role will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, financial stewardship, fundraising leadership, and community engagement while ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and values. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and strategic direction of the organization, working closely with the Board of Directors to guide governance, operations, program excellence, staff leadership, and external partnerships. Key responsibilities include partnering with the Board to develop and implement strategic priorities and long-term goals, providing regular reports and performance metrics to support effective decision-making, and leading organizational planning for growth, innovation, and community impact. The Executive Director will provide oversight of organizational operations and programs, ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, develop systems for operational excellence and continuous improvement, supervise and mentor staff, and ensure programs meet residents’ needs and support positive outcomes. The Executive Director will develop and manage the annual operating budget in partnership with the Board, monitor organizational performance and financial health, and maintain sound financial practices, internal controls, and fiscal accountability. In addition, the role will oversee contracts, vendor relationships, insurance, and facility management, while identifying opportunities to strengthen long-term sustainability. The Executive Director will lead comprehensive fundraising efforts, cultivate relationships with donors and key stakeholders, serve as a primary spokesperson and ambassador, advance endowment and legacy giving initiatives, build community partnerships and advocacy efforts, and represent the organization in community forums and professional networks.
