Job Description Job Description Field Service Technician Locations: Kansas City, KS Kansas City, MO Chicago, IL Pittsburgh, PA We are hiring a Field Service Technician to join our growing team! As a Field Service Technician , you will provide on-site installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment across North America. This role is ideal for candidates with strong electro-mechanical experience who enjoy hands-on work in diverse environments and solving complex technical challenges. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, relocate, calibrate, and repair industrial machinery and equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems Utilize CRM/CMMS systems to track service activity, manage work orders, and document repairs Provide exceptional customer service and technical support at client sites Travel up to 75%, including occasional international assignments Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma, GED, Associate’s degree, or relevant technical certification Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams Familiarity with machine controls/PLC systems, or willingness to learn Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills Valid driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain) Ability to pass a respirator fit test, physical exam, background check, and drug screening Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and lifting heavy equipment Flexibility to work weekends as needed (with additional compensation) COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Competitive base salary Eligible for a 10% annual performance bonus Stock option program available after one year of employment Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and company holidays Travel-related expenses covered while on assignment This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment, travel to diverse locations, and grow your technical expertise within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
