Assistant Coach-Men's Lacrosse

Overview Instructs and teaches athletes in fundamentals of lacrosse, coaches technique and strategy. Assists in selection of team members and recruiting activities in compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules and regulations. Assists the head coach in the coordination of administrative areas of program management including, but not limited to, scheduling of competitions and practices, travel plans, equipment. Monitors academic progress of student athletes; audits information from academic support services, ensures compliance with conference, NCAA, and University rules and regulations. Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Level Degree Additional Education Desired Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Qualifications Coaching experience and extensive knowledge of the sport of men's lacrosse at the intercollegiate level. Position requires extensive travel during recruiting process. Desired Qualifications Knowledge and experience working with NCAA rules and regulations; experience working with a diverse population desired. 2 openings available.
