We're a stable company that invests in our people and promotes from within.About the Jr Rover Role:As a Jr Rover, you won't be tied to a single property — instead, you'll support multiple properties, filling in wherever the need is greatest. Occasional overnight travel will be required.What We Offer:Competitive pay based on experience $19.00 to $21.00 per hourQuarterly bonuses up to $3,000 per yearOn-call pay: $100/week + minimum 1.5 hours per callFair annual raises401(k) with 3% company matchMedical (Blue Cross / Blue Shield) for under $50/monthVision and disability insurance9 paid holidaysPaid time off that grows with you (80–160 hours depending on tenure)20% rent discount at Monarch communities (terms and conditions apply)Tool reimbursement up to $500/yearWinter boots and work pants reimbursementPaid training, including EPA certificationTuition reimbursement and career growth opportunitiesEmployee discounts (Verizon, Expedia, Office Depot, and more)Anniversary recognitionMileage reimbursement, cell allowance, and vehicle usage per the Monarch Employee HandbookWhat You'll Be Doing:Knock out work orders efficiently and safely across your assigned portfolio of propertiesTurn units and get them ready for new residents (make-readies)Handle painting, staining, drywall, and general carpentry (interior and exterior)Take care of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issuesRegularly inspect curb appeal, shops, major equipment, turn boards, and work order reports, and report findings to your supervisorAssist with pool maintenance and grounds upkeep where applicableHelp coordinate purchasing or organizing of bulk items and equipment as neededAssist with contractor relationships, including project bids and logisticsAssist with or coordinate on-call coverage and snow removal across your portfolio as neededMay directly manage PMPs (Preventative Maintenance Plans), safety training, turn management, or work order management for specific properties when assigned in writingMaintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and work areasAct as a professional representative of Monarch at every property you supportOther duties and special projects as assignedWhat We're Looking For:High school diploma or equivalent6+ months of general maintenance experienceSome drywall experience, including painting and carpentryBasic knowledge of electrical, including outlets, switches, and light fixturesSome AC/HVAC experience requiredGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsA genuine, customer-service mindset with residents and property teamsWillingness to complete basic training within 30 daysReliable transportation to and from each scheduled shiftAbility to arrive on-site within 20 minutes when on callValid driver's license (a driving record report will be run)This role requires pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check, drug screening and MVR check.Equal Opportunity Employer Monarch Investment and Management Group (Monarch) is an equal opportunity employer.
