Assistant Men's Ice Hockey Coach

Overview The Assistant Hockey Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of the program’s development and success, including practice planning, game strategy, player development, recruiting, and fostering a positive team culture. Responsibilities Assist in developing and executing practice plans and game strategies. Support player development on and off the ice. Ensure compliance with league rules and regulations. Promote a positive and inclusive team culture. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Three years of previous playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level, preferably NCAA Division I, II, or III. Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset. Experience with recruitment and video analysis desirable. Position Details This full‑time, term‑funded, exempt staff position includes a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
