Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's unique trauma history and challenges, guiding the development of tailored treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience among clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to effectively address trauma-related symptoms.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process their experiences, cultivate coping skills, and promote emotional healing.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure that our patients receive holistic and integrated care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for clients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a timely and effective response.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and available support systems to encourage informed engagement in the recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in adherence to ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse population of individuals impacted by various forms of trauma, including military veterans, sexual assault survivors, and victims of domestic abuse. Your understanding of trauma-related disorders and your ability to apply trauma-informed practices will be essential in providing effective support to these clients. Additionally, you will play a key role in facilitating a safe environment where clients feel empowered to voice their concerns and aspirations during therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of Texas is essential.

• In-depth knowledge and experience in trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities, specifically those focused on trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 annually.
