Litigation Assistant

We are looking for a Litigation Assistant. This is an entry level position, prior legal experience is not required.

Our ideal candidate will work under the supervision of Project Leaders/Paralegals/Attorneys to support the delivery of quality legal services to clients by performing technical and entry level support tasks. This position will provide assistance to others in all aspects of litigation work.

Requirements

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.

• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail/organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality & handle sensitive information with discretion
• Must have computer skills, specifically in Windows environment

Job Duties:

• Establish/organize files & update information in case management software
• Assist in preparing litigation documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs & other related documents
• Maintain contact & communicate case progress to clients
• Assist the Paralegal & Attorney with trial preparations & depositions
