Position Overview The Resident Manager I is a full‑time position located at Rodeo Gateway, a 50‑unit affordable senior housing community in Rodeo, CA. The role is responsible for managing the site to ensure effective fiscal, physical, and social soundness, overseeing day‑to‑day operations of the property including administrative, facilities, and marketing functions. Responsibilities Collect rent, make bank deposits Prepare and submit rent roll, verify income compliance with HUD, TCAC, or other regulations Maintain waiting list, prepare and process leases Supervise on‑site staff, process evictions, conduct annual inspections, coordinate repairs for HUD properties, submit vouchers Qualifications 1+ year of affordable housing property management experience Current California real‑estate license Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH, and ADA guidelines Ability to develop and implement budgets and variance reports Skills in resident problem solving and staff management Benefits Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance 403(b) retirement plan with 5% company match Generous vacation accrual (15 days per year, increases with service) 10 paid sick days per year 13 paid holidays Flexible start times (REMOTE or onsite) Competitive salaries Employee wellness program Flexible spending account EAP—mental health, financial, and legal services $1,500 employee referral program EAH University in‑house training program Salary Salary range: $22.62 - $40.62 per hour (new employees generally $22.62 – $31.61 per hour, DOE). Salary will be based on candidate experience and current salary level. Background Check Requirements EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks on all candidates who receive a conditional job offer. Candidates must also submit to fingerprinting if required by law. House‑mates over 18 who live onsite with the candidate must undergo background checks and tenant screening. Successful completion of these checks is required for employment. Drug Testing All candidates with a conditional offer must submit to drug testing within 72 hours of accepting the offer. EAH does not test for marijuana/cannabis.
