Support Specialist Packaging

We are stronger together! OVERVIEW This position provides administrative support for document related manufacturing activities at the Whippany site. RESPONSIBILITIES * Performs SAP transaction reviews for Packaging Batch Records. * Works with department supervision when batch record data entry corrections are required. * Performs SAP transactions including issuance of raw materials and yield confirmations for Packaging Orders. * Acts as the 'Super User' for various support systems such as SAP, HEROS and TrackWise. * Generates final version documents (SOP, VCR, Planned Deviations, etc.) from data provided by supervisors and SMEs. * Secures supplier quotes and creates general purchase requisitions as needed. * Collects data to compile Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the manufacturing departments. * Monitors SOP and Log Book effective dates and ensures department supervisors stay current with SOP reviews and Log Books. * Orders EHS supplies as needed. * Oversees/tracks department Investigation and CAPA due dates. * Department SME for SAP * Supports EH&S initiatives for manufacturing * Other duties as assigned Pay is $26.00/hr QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: * Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail * Proficient with MS Office, SAP, HEROS and TrackWise. * Ability to demonstrate effective problem resolution. * Must be able to move about the facility * Must be able to remain sedentary for periods of time * May be required to lift up the 10 lbs EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum of a High School diploma; a 2 year college degree is desirable.
