Requirements Holds a P&C Insurance license Has at least 3 years insurance industry experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Organizational skills Self-motivated with initiative, integrity, and thoughtfulness Detail-oriented Proactive problem-solver Above average computer knowledge and skills Team player Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up Responsibilities Support agency by processing new business applications and servicing existing policyholder policies. Collect complete underwriting information from walk-in/telephone prospects. Prepare and present complete and competitive insurance quotes. Conduct claims reporting and follow-up. Conduct regular account reviews in an effort to improve retention and sell additional coverages (cross selling and account rounding). Build and maintain rapport with producers, clients, and insurance company underwriters and sales team. Work on individual or corporate projects that may occasionally be assigned by management.
