Position Overview : We are seeking a Commercial Lines Claims Representative to support clients throughout the commercial insurance claims process. This role serves as a key client advocate, ensuring claims are reported accurately, monitored closely, and resolved efficiently. The ideal candidate brings strong claims knowledge, attention to detail, and a client-first mindset to help businesses navigate claims with confidence and clarity. Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position intended for a candidate based in the Southeast Region. Work location (remote, hybrid, or in-office) will be determined based on business needs and the candidate’s location. Professional Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients during the claims process, providing timely updates and responsive support. Collect, review, and document claim details from insureds to ensure accurate and complete claim reporting. Submit commercial claims to insurance carriers promptly and in accordance with carrier requirements. Review policy declaration pages to confirm applicable commercial coverages and set appropriate expectations with clients. Track and monitor open claims, following up with carriers to support timely and fair resolution. Advocate on behalf of clients by addressing coverage questions, claim delays, or service issues with carriers. Maintain detailed claim documentation, including payments and reserves, within the agency management system. Collaborate with internal teams through regular meetings, claims reviews, and cross‑functional communication to ensure alignment and consistency. Qualifications and Requirements: Prior experience working in commercial lines insurance, with exposure to claims support, account management, or client service. Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, policies, and claims processes. Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally. High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple claims and priorities effectively. Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining accountability for assigned responsibilities. High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
