Medical Assistant

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

1. High School diploma or its equivalent
2. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred
3. Good telephone communication skills
4. Knowledge of medical terminology
5. Knowledge of medical procedures
6. Knowledge of clerical functions
7. Current BLS card
8. EPIC experience preferred
9. Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
10. Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
11. Minimum of one year relevant experience required
12. Relevant certification/ license if applicable
13. Must be at least 18 years of age
