Position: Cybersecurity Practitioner: Paid Expert Interviews (SOC, Incident Response, Detection, AppSec)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $125–$175/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Participate in two to three one-hour video conversations with the Mercor team over four weeks.
- Discuss the tools and processes used in enterprise cyber defense work.
- Evaluate how AI assistance currently impacts your work and suggest improvements for AI benchmarks.
- Review and provide feedback on our draft task taxonomy for accuracy and relevance.
- Share insights on measuring the effectiveness of triage, investigation, and other security tasks.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Current or recent experience in enterprise security roles such as SOC analysts, incident responders, or security engineers.
- Experience with EDR and SIEM stacks like CrowdStrike Falcon , Microsoft Defender , Splunk , or similar.
Preferred
- Security leaders with hands-on experience in cyber defense work.
