Job Description

Machine operators play a crucial role in our operations by running packaging machinery, ensuring everything functions correctly, and keeping the machines stocked. This position requires safety-minded individuals with a keen attention to detail. Operators will set up machinery, read manuals, and follow safety procedures to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery by reading manuals and following safety procedures.
• Load machinery with packaging supplies.
• Monitor the machine and filling process to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Perform manual loading and quality inspection.
• Read instructions and orders to execute tasks effectively.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operation, assembly, and general production.
• Proficient in using hand tools and performing machine set-up.
• Experience in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Capability to read and complete required paperwork.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Aptitude for learning how to operate packaging machinery.
• Ability to meet daily productivity expectations.
• Physical ability to stand for 9 to 10-hour shifts and lift 50 lbs unaided.

Work Environment

Work with industrial equipment in a non-climate controlled environment. Engage in distribution and packaging processes alongside a team of 36 employees in a teamwork-focused setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
