Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to providing safe, high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and preventive services, including oil changes, brake inspections, fluid services, and tune-ups.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer procedures.
• Perform repairs involving engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, brakes, HVAC, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs or potential safety concerns.
• Accurately document inspections, diagnoses, repairs, parts, and labor performed.
• Use shop equipment, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow manufacturer specifications, repair procedures, and applicable safety standards.
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors, managers, and/or customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Perform road tests when appropriate to verify repairs.
• Stay current with automotive technology, diagnostic procedures, and repair techniques.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Atleast 2+ years of automotive repair experience
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose vehicle problems accurately and efficiently.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle automotive components and equipment.
