Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN – NICU Days | Travel Assignment Location: Los Angeles, CA Shift: 3x12 Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Experience: 2 years Level IV NICU required Scrubs: Navy Requirements Active CA RN License required — pending license not accepted BLS, PALS & NRP required Strong experience with CVCs, ventilators, drips, trachs & G-tubes Experience caring for patients under 12 years old Pre/post-op cardiac and surgical patient experience required Strong nursing assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation skills Ability to educate patients/families and delegate effectively Floating May float to PICU/Pediatrics based on census. Must be highly confident and competent in high-acuity pediatric/NICU care.
