Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a Charge Nurse with NICU specialization to lead and oversee patient care in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and NICU clinical expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise nursing staff within the NICU to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide direct patient care and clinical support as needed.
• Implement and monitor adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Mentor and support junior nursing staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, including prior leadership or charge nurse responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong clinical skills specific to neonatal intensive care.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
