Registered Nurse – NICU
Los Angeles, California, United States
Travel assignment starting 08/24/2026 for 8 weeks
Weekly pay: 1,867 to 1,970 USD per week
Guaranteed hours: 48 per week
Shift: 3x12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Setting: Home Healthcare – Hospice
This is a travel, temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated NICU nursing care to neonates and assigned patients per established standards and the nursing process
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate progress
- Collaborate with the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate, and individualized care
- Administer medications and treatments per policy; monitor for adverse effects and respond to clinical changes
- Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care to ensure continuity and safety
- Document care and clinical findings in the electronic health record (EPIC); maintain accurate, timely records
- Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate levels of nursing staff as needed
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and prognosis; provide learning opportunities for team members

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum two years of recent RN experience in the field; acute care experience preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
- EPIC electronic health record experience within the last 12 months required
- Ability to work in a home healthcare – hospice setting with NICU responsibilities
