CentraState has an employment opportunity available for an Account Advisor to support the Patient Financial Services Customer Service Department. This role will be a first escalation point for our Customer Service representatives, assist with telephone duties, and will be responsible for various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first escalation point for Customer Service Representatives, providing guidance when appropriate and escalating to management as necessary.
• Answer patient inquiries via phone calls. Follow up as necessary to assure patient satisfaction.
• Notate all accounts detailing patient interactions.
• Take patient payments.
• Add insurance to accounts when received and ensure proper billing occurs.
• Handle various administrative tasks as assigned by management such as patient refunds, work que management, etc.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare billing.
• Previous customer service experience is required.

Compensation Range: $21.00 - $33.60 per hour

The compensation above reflects the established range from CentraState Healthcare System (CSHS) for this position at the time the job was posted. CSHS considers many factors to determine compensation, including education, experience, skills, licenses, certification, and training. As such, team member compensation may fall outside this range.

Additionally, the compensation range reflects base salary and does not include extra shift rates or incentives tied to quality, productivity, etc., as applicable.
