EV Technician

Day-to-Day: Diagnose and repair EV charging infrastructure using computer diagnostics and electrical tools Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on EV chargers Maintain detailed service and repair documentation Coordinate with third-party vendors for project execution Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget Proactively identify and communicate upsell opportunities (service agreements, maintenance plans, monitoring software) Generate warm leads and referrals for the sales team Track charger performance and provide progress reports Escalate technical or project issues to management as needed Adhere to strict safety protocols while working with high-voltage systems Maintain professionalism at customer sites and build strong client relationships Operate and maintain a company vehicle, including cleanliness, maintenance coordination, and compliance with GPS monitoring Participate in ongoing training, including initial one-week training in Fullerton, CA Job Description: Insight Global is seeking an EVCS Technician for a top clean energy and electric vehicle infrastructure client. This individual will support the service operations team by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric vehicle charging stations in the field. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, safety-focused technician who enjoys travel, customer interaction, and working with cutting-edge EV technology.
