Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day-shift ICU travel position in Lufkin, TX, requiring critical care experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• 13-week contract in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• 27-bed ICU with patient ratios of 2:1 or 3-4:1
• On-call shifts are possible
• Floating to the Step-Down unit may be required
• EMR: Medhost experience applicable to this role
• No 48-hour shift requirements

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license with TX privileges required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent critical care (ICU) experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Navy scrubs are required for this position
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• A valid driver's license is required for consideration
