Teguar Corporation is expanding our Marketing department and we are seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist of Communications and Events to join our team..

Position Summary 

The Marketing Specialist – Communications & Events is responsible for executing Teguar’s marketing communications strategy through event management, public relations, digital channel execution, and marketing campaign support. This role focuses on increasing brand awareness, supporting product promotion, and ensuring consistent communication across customer-facing channels. 

The Marketing Specialist – Communications & Events works closely with the Marketing Manager, Product Marketing Specialist, Sales team, and external partners to execute campaigns, manage events, coordinate marketing activities, and amplify Teguar’s products and solutions in the marketplace. 

Primary Responsibilities 

Events & Trade Show Management 

• Plan, coordinate, and execute Teguar’s trade shows, conferences, tabletop events, and customer marketing events. 

• Manage event logistics, including registration, vendor coordination, booth materials, promotional items, shipping, and onsite requirements. 

• Coordinate event timelines, deliverables, and internal communication to ensure successful execution. 

• Support pre-event marketing activities, including email campaigns, social media promotion, and event-related content. 

• Coordinate post-event activities, including lead handoff support, reporting, and event follow-up. 

• Maintain event calendars and ensure marketing activities align with broader business objectives. 

Marketing Communications & Content Execution 

• Manage the marketing communications calendar across social media, email, website, PR, and other marketing channels. 

• Schedule, publish, and monitor social media content across company platforms. 

• Support community engagement and respond to social media interactions as appropriate. 

• Execute marketing communications using approved messaging and content developed in partnership with Product Marketing. 

• Coordinate the distribution of product, company, and campaign content across digital channels. 

• Maintain consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual presentation. 

Public Relations & Brand Awareness  

• Execute PR activities, including press releases, announcements, and company communications. 

• Coordinate media outreach activities and maintain relationships with external PR resources. 

• Support the development and distribution of company news, product updates, and industry announcements. 

• Monitor industry trends, news, and opportunities for increased brand visibility. 

Campaign & Digital Marketing Support 

• Support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across email, social media, website, and other channels. 

• Coordinate campaign timelines, assets, and deliverables. 

• Build and schedule email marketing communications. 

• Support website updates and digital content publishing. 

• Track campaign performance and provide insights to improve future marketing activities. 

• Collaborate with the Product Marketing Specialist to promote new product launches and ongoing product initiatives. 

Creative & Marketing Asset Coordination 

• Coordinate the creation and delivery of marketing materials, including digital graphics, presentations, event materials, and promotional assets. 

• Create basic marketing graphics and digital assets using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms. 

• Ensure marketing materials follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across channels. 

• Coordinate with external vendors, designers, photographers, videographers, and other marketing partners as needed. 

• Support video production and other multimedia marketing initiatives. 

Marketing Operations & Collaboration 

• Manage incoming marketing requests and assist with prioritization and coordination of marketing activities. 

• Maintain organized marketing assets, project documentation, and campaign materials. 

• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to keep marketing initiatives moving forward. 

• Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, workflows, and execution. 

• Support ongoing marketing initiatives and other marketing projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred. 
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or event coordination. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Experience managing social media channels and digital marketing activities. 
• Experience coordinating events, campaigns, or marketing projects. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines. 
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience supporting B2B marketing initiatives. 
• Experience managing trade shows, conferences, or customer events. 
• Basic graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools. 
• Experience with email marketing platforms, CMS systems, and marketing automation tools. 
• Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency in research, content creation, and marketing execution.
