Maintenance Supervisor

This pivotal role involves leading a team of technicians to maintain machinery and tools, ensuring both safety and efficiency. Lead, train, and mentor the maintenance team, encouraging professional growth and adherence to company standards. Evaluate team needs, assign responsibilities, and ensure timely completion of tasks. Diagnose and resolve technical issues, offering guidance and support to technicians. Work closely with production management to reduce downtime and swiftly manage emergency repairs. Identify cost-saving strategies to enhance production processes and equipment performance while managing inventory effectively. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and preventive maintenance standards, maintaining detailed records. Promote a culture of safety and accountability, reinforcing company safety policies and best practices. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by upholding 5S principles. Adhere to all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures. Qualifications: Experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably within a foundry environment. Comprehensive understanding of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices. Proven leadership skills in team management, including hiring, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Technical accreditation or completion of a skilled trades program from a recognized institution. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in maintenance operations.
