This is more than a call to join us, it's an invitation to be part of a visionary journey, to grow with us as we scale.About the positionAs the Senior Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for assuring the Company provides the highest quality of electrical construction services and that all stated requirements are met with respect to engineering, management, testing, material, codes, installation, workmanship, construction, finish, functional performance, identification, record keeping and customer relations. This position partners with job site personnel and project management team members as appropriate, to ensure high quality project results are achieved, in alignment with all Company policies, procedures, key objectives and regulations.Our Ideal CandidateHas a growth mindset and is always looking to continually learn and grow.Can flex and adapt with the growing needs of the business.Can work autonomously and creatively solve problems.Day in the lifeDevelops all project specific quality control (QC) plans for submission in alignment with project and company requirements.Builds strategic and effective relationships with site QC teams, project management team, specialty contractors, vendors, suppliers, user groups and others that reflect and support the Company’s core values and meets or exceeds the customers’ expectations. Negotiates with vendors as needed.Stays informed of new and changing Company procedures, policies, materials, technologies, techniques, and practices.Establishes and helps develop training for company quality control policies and processes.Understands and enforces NFPA 70E, interprets and implements protection settings, Arc Flash labeling, and PPE requirements to ensure safe electrical conditions.Prepares, distributes, and maintains daily reports summarizing information related to current project status. Reports all safety issues or concerns immediately to the designated safety personnel on site.Consistently makes decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others.Utilizes LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure the most efficient operations, processes, and activities.Promotes and models the Company mission, vision and values through exercising sound and ethical business practices, championing all elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and providing high-quality services and programs as they relate to clients, subcontractors, co-workers, suppliers, and the public.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in electrical engineering, building construction quality control, or a related field. USACE Quality Management for Contractors certification is required. CPR certification and OSHA 10 certifications are also required. Electrical Masters License or similar electrical-related qualification is preferred. NFPA 70E & LOTO training will be required & provided through Click Safety.Minimum 8+ years of senior electrical quality control experience, plus experience and skills to read, analyze, and interpret electrical plans, blueprint drawings, specifications, technical data submittals, common scientific and technical journals. Extensive knowledge of construction, building and electrical codes.Familiarity with EM385, NESC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 101A and 101B, NFPA 780, LOTO procedures.Experience with and ability to professionally respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and customer representatives, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.Ability to effectively present information to clients, stakeholders, senior leadership, and site employees. Must have appropriate strong computer skills and be able to use information technology and specific applications to document and report, using required software.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, then apply appropriate methods and procedures to create and facilitate applicable solutions and alleviate conflict.Extensive experience with project management methodologies, leadership, and practices. Thorough understanding of the project life cycle.In-depth training and experience with LEAN methodologies and applications. Strong process orientation.Strong business analysis and mathematical skills. Skills to read and interpret financial documents. Strong organizational, critical thinking skills and detail orientation.Excellent customer focus, delegation, presentation, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated high level of integrity and dependability.Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to work with diverse work teams.TravelDays and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
