Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Winchester, TN. Work Schedule Monday – Thursday 7am–5pm Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent Preferred Qualifications One year or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program from an accredited agency, in lieu of work experience Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k), paid or flexible time off, tuition reimbursement, and an employee stock purchase plan.
