Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to provide quality care in a supportive environment, accommodating both long-term care and rehabilitation residents.

Shift Details

• Evening Shift: 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM
• 8-hour shifts available: 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM, 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM, 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents in both long-term care and rehab settings.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, MDS, Director of Nurses (DON), and management to deliver effective nursing strategies.
• Assist with medication administration, treatment plans, and daily patient assessments.
• Support CNAs in providing compassionate care to residents.
• Utilize sling lifts and manage nutritional needs such as tube feeding and hand-feeding for residents as necessary.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience with American Data ECS charting system is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge in handling residents with specific needs including those in long-term care and rehabilitation.

Additional Information

• Religious and medical exemptions for COVID-19 vaccination will be accepted.
• Orientation to be conducted with the Director of Nurses on the first day, requiring two hours of prior arrival for nurses and 15 minutes for CNAs.
• Lunch break is 30 minutes unpaid.
• Overtime opportunities are available.

• Public transport options including bus and taxi services are available in the area.
