Job Title: Electrical Engineer Job Description

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, development, and technical execution of electrical distribution products including switchboards, panelboards, power distribution assemblies, and modular power solutions. The role includes developing electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bill of materials. Additionally, the engineer will perform electrical calculations, load analysis, short circuit calculations, voltage drop assessments, conductor sizing, and equipment selection.

• Lead the design and development of electrical distribution products.
• Develop electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
• Create panel layouts and bill of materials.
• Perform electrical calculations, load analysis, and short circuit calculations.
• Conduct voltage drop assessments and conductor sizing.
• Select appropriate equipment for projects.

• Proficiency in electrical engineering and design.
• Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Ability to design control panels and switchgear.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and one-line diagrams.
• Experience with distribution panels and electrical design.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with electrical design.
• 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
• 5+ years of experience creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Knowledge of UL standards (NEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA).

The position is based in the Dane office, requiring onsite presence three days a week with the option for a hybrid schedule otherwise. The company is rapidly growing, having doubled in size over the past year, and offers ample opportunities to work on projects for data centers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dane, WI.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
