Location: School Districts across New Jersey

Job Type: Full-Time (Hourly, Contract Basis)

Pay Rate:  $35-40 per hour  (depending on experience, certification, and district)

Schedule: School hours, Monday to Friday (no weekends)

Job Summary

We at  Health Source Group  are seeking a qualified and dedicated  School Social Worker to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral health in a school-based setting. This is an hourly, contract position working with students, families, and school staff to ensure students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed academically and personally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-social assessments and develop intervention plans.
• Provide counseling to students (individual and group).
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings; provide CST support where applicable.
• Serve as liaison between school, home, and community agencies.
• Assist in crisis prevention and response.
• Document all services provided in accordance with district and state guidelines.
• Collaborate with school staff to promote a positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Education : Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Certification : Valid  NJDOE School Social Worker Certificate (Required).
• Experience : Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Skills : Strong communication, counseling, and documentation skills.

Additional Details

• Flexible placement options available (elementary, middle, or high school).
• Travel may be required between schools within a district.
