Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed neuro medical/surgical and telemetry unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with stroke NIH assessments and EEG monitoring
• Carry out gastric decompression procedures and wound care management
• Operate and monitor unit equipment including telemetry systems, PCA pumps, Hoyer lifts, and virtual sitter technology
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Complete 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period; no on-call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Ability to work night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 12-hour schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Prior experience in a neuro medical/surgical unit environment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR and telemetry monitoring equipment
