Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed neuro medical/surgical telemetry unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including Stroke NIH assessments, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment, PCA pumps, Welch Allyn vital sign monitors, and CareView Virtual Sitter technology
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, LVNs, and PCTs across night shift operations
• Complete 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical/surgical setting
• Current BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with no on-call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ACLS certification
• Prior experience in a telemetry or neuro medical/surgical unit
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
