Our client is an industry leader in stainless steel cable and mesh systems, delivering innovative architectural solutions for safety applications, green walls, and specialty construction projects across North America. As the company continues to grow, they are seeking an Inside Sales Representative / Estimator to serve as the primary point of contact for customers while supporting estimating activities, business development initiatives, and project execution from specification through installation.

Job Duties :

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers within an assigned territory, responding to inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, order status, and technical questions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, general contractors, metal fabricators, installers, landscapers, and other key stakeholders.
• Prospect and cultivate new business opportunities to drive sales growth and achieve territory goals.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to prepare estimates and recommend appropriate product solutions.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and system requirements to support quoting and project execution.
• Coordinate with Sales Support to process orders, returns, exchanges, and shipment of samples and marketing materials.
• Provide technical guidance to customers throughout various stages of the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot product-related concerns and professionally resolve customer issues and claims.
• Collaborate with marketing, production, operations, and sales teams to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in building materials, construction estimating, inside sales, business development, or a related field.
• Experience within steel and cable manufacturing, metal fabrication, fencing systems, architectural products, or related industries preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of AutoCAD experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of construction estimating experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret project specifications, architectural drawings, and construction documents.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, system assemblies, installation practices, and applicable codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
• Strong presentation, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Experience using ERP systems, CRM platforms, and customer support software.
