Applications Specialist The Applications Specialist is responsible for preparing permit, utility and state application packages, tracking/recording all applications' progress, and maintaining positive relationships with municipalities and applicable organizations. An ideal candidate for the position will be amiable, detail-oriented, organized, dependable, motivated, and able to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. Duties/Responsibilities Prepare permit, utility and state application packages Assist in compiling information necessary to complete application packages Track progress and update information in database Review and distribute documents and correspondence Perform administrative functions including but not limited to: incoming calls, copying, scanning, emailing, preparing shipments, and filing Develop and maintain positive relationships with municipalities and applicable organizations May require permit running Required Skills/Abilities Exemplary interpersonal skills Proficient in various forms of communication Strong organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills Consistent thoroughness/attention to detail Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF) Notary Public preferred, but not required Education and Experience College degree preferred 1+ year(s) of office experience Permitting experience preferred Solar Admin experience preferred, but not required Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
