As an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive musculoskeletal and orthopedic care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage orthopedic conditions including joint pain, arthritis, fractures, mobility limitations, and other musculoskeletal disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while collaborating with a dedicated interdisciplinary healthcare team.ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive orthopedic and musculoskeletal assessments for patients in long-term care and skilled nursing facilitiesDiagnose and treat orthopedic conditions including joint pain, osteoarthritis, fractures, sprains, mobility impairments, and chronic musculoskeletal disordersDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, therapeutic interventions, and rehabilitative recommendationsConduct routine follow-up visits to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as neededCollaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient careProvide patient and family education regarding orthopedic conditions, treatment plans, fall prevention, and mobility supportPerform joint injections and other in-office orthopedic procedures as appropriate and within scope of practiceMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR systemParticipate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and care deliveryRequirementsMinimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facilityActive and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician licenseDEA LicenseCPR BCLS/BLS certifiedMust hold a Master's Degree in NursingCompleted a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner programA year of experience in Orthopedics or musculoskeletal carePreferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training providedMust have great organizational and time management skills.BenefitsCompetitive salary: $150,000 - $200,000HealthDentalVision401KCompany-Sponsored Life InsurancePaid Time OffMalpractice insurance coverageWhy Work With Us?Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniorsWork in a collaborative, mission-driven environmentEnjoy work-life balanceEqual Opportunity EmployerInfinite Medical P.C is an equal-opportunity employer.
