We are seeking dedicated professionals with a passion for cardiac care and a commitment to excellence.Responsibilities\n \n Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVOR, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.\n Assist in various cardiovascular procedures, including but not limited to coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), aortic aneurysm repair, and valve replacement surgeries.\n Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac status, utilizing advanced cardiac monitoring equipment.\n Administer medications and blood products as required, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.\n Participate in code response and emergency situations, providing critical support and intervention.\n Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the Epic charting system.\n Requirements\n \n Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a cardiovascular setting.\n Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.\n BSN degree preferred.\n Experience with Epic charting system is required.\n Previous charge experience is preferred.\n Must hold a valid NY State nursing license.\n COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical exemptions only.\n Must be available for shifts that could be 7a–7:30p, 11a–11:30p, or 8 hours 7a–3p.\n \n \n WCS Healthcare Partners Job ID #26-07278.
