As a Sales Development Associate with Griffin Fluid Management, you'll be part of a structured development program designed to prepare you for a long-term career in sales. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk role. You'll roll up your sleeves, get your boots muddy, and fully understand our equipment and services from day one.

You'll shadow technicians, job superintendents, and operations staff to learn the complete lifecycle of our equipment and services. From supporting customers to learning equipment applications, you'll build the foundation needed to grow into a high-performing sales role. • Provide exceptional customer service by phone, email, and in person
• Process rental quotes, contracts, and sales orders in a timely, accurate manner
• Assist outside sales representatives in identifying and closing rental opportunities
• Proactively follow up on leads, quotes, and customer inquiries
• Support customer accounts and jobsite coordination with dispatch and operations teams
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure equipment readiness and customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and rental software systems
• Participate in ongoing product, safety, and sales training

• Bachelor's degree in business, geology, engineering, or a related field of study, OR 4+ years of military service
• Strong mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in learning pump system applications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic CRM systems
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively and professionally under pressure

• Previous sales, customer service, or field experience
• Familiarity with construction, industrial, or municipal industries
• Experience with rental management software or ERP systems
• Knowledge of fluid management or pumping equipment

• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate effectively and professionally under pressure
• Willingness to work in dynamic, hands-on environments

This role requires regular physical activity in outdoor and job site environments. You will be expected to:

• Stand, walk, and move around job sites and equipment areas for extended periods
• Lift and carry materials and equipment up to 50 pounds regularly
• Climb, bend, and work in various weather conditions
• Travel to customer sites and job locations (local and occasional regional travel)
• Operate or assist with equipment operation in field settings
• Work in environments that may include mud, water, noise, and other industrial conditions
