Position: Full-time/Contract
Job Description: Oracle Database Performance Engineer with Golden Gate Experience. This position is for hard core DBA who understand Oracle DB very well. He has to be hands on tuning the Oracle DB, SQL, PL/SQL and Operating Systems. Following are the core skill sets.
- In depth understanding of Oracle Architecture, PGA, SGA, Init.Ora, Wait Events
- Good grasp of OS fundamentals
- ASH, AWR, 10046, 10053 based Tuning expertise
- SQL and Pl/SQL Tuning
- OS Kernel Level tuning and OS level tracing
- Very good understanding of SQL Execution Plan
- Expert in Golden Gate setup and Troubleshooting
- Point in time recovery and conflict handling in Golden Gate
- Python/Shell Scripting
- Automation tools like Chef, Puppet or Ansible
