The EPA Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, focusing on environmental impact studies and oversight of regulatory adherence, particularly concerning the Clean Water Act. This position involves conducting thorough environmental assessments to support sustainable and lawful operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact studies to assess potential effects on ecosystems
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policies
- Perform regulatory compliance oversight related to environmental laws
- Execute environmental assessments to evaluate project adherence to standards
- Focus on Clean Water Act regulation implementation and monitoring
- 5 years of experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of environmental regulations of both state and federal such as Clean Water Act, HAZMAT, etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to details/ well organized
- Proficient with standard office software
- Permit filing experience
- AQMD experience
