Just minutes from La Jolla, downtown, and major San Diego attractions, our hotel offers an elevated stay with unforgettable service.At our hotel, it all starts with you—our team of passionate professionals who create a seamless and memorable guest experience from the very first "hello."We're currently seeking a Part Time Floor Maintenance Technician to support the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our hotel and restaurant operations.What You'll Do:Maintain a clean, safe, and well maintained hotel environment for guests and team membersPerform routine preventative maintenance and deep cleans in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-houseRespond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests with professionalism and follow-throughPerform hard floor and surface care, including but not limited to stripping old wax, top scrubbing, sealing, and applying new finishes or polishPerform carpet maintenance, including but not limited to vacuuming, shampooing, extracting, and steam cleaning carpets and upholsteryOperate various types of heavy industrial floor care equipmentMaintain logs, complete checklists, and report unusual findings to leadershipEnsure minimal equipment downtime by keeping key parts stocked and readyAssist during emergencies including power outages, floods, or weather-related eventsKeep work areas clean and organized, and ensure safety protocols are followedUphold company standards for appearance, performance, and guest serviceOther duties as assigned by managementWhat We're Looking For:Experience: Proven floor maintenance skills; prior hotel floor maintenance tech experience preferredSkills: Strong troubleshooting ability, organizational skills, and clear communicationProfessionalism: Positive attitude, customer service-focused, dependablePhysical Ability: Able to lift and carry up to to 50 lbs, push/pull carts, stand/walk throughout shiftFlexibility: Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidaysExtras: Pool/spa maintenance experience a plus; additional language skills are a plus to communicate with international guestsWhy You'll Love It Here:Competitive pay - $22.00 per hourPaid sick time after 90 daysFlexible schedulingDiscounts at all Eat.Drink.Sleep properties in California and ArizonaAccess to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)A beautiful beachfront workplace with a dynamic, professional teamReady to Join the Crew Behind the Scenes?If you're handy, proactive, and passionate about preventative care and maintenance—we want to hear from you.TOWER23 Hotel is San Diego's only luxury, lifestyle hotel on the beach.
