Full-Time Line Cook Opportunity at Eberly
Eberly is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Line Cook to join our team. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic and creative culinary environment. Our team values hard work, commitment, and an eagerness to develop professional skills while also paying attention to the small details that make a restaurant great. Compensation: Hourly wage ranges from $18 to $20 per hour based on experience. Overtime opportunities are available as applicable.
Benefits: Aetna coverage, including vision and dental, with a monthly premium of $140 for qualifying full-time employees. Full-time employees are eligible for 35 hours paid time off after one year of employment. Closed on all major holidays, including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and the 4th of July.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels for all products within your station.
- Prepare ingredients and ensure consistent quality in all dishes.
- Set up and break down your assigned station.
- Manage a station producing 5-7 menu items.
- Communicate with chefs regarding low stock or inventory needs.
- Ensure high-quality product output while maintaining organization and cleanliness.
- Work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Participate in the development of in-house ferments (such as Koji, Kosho, Kombucha, Miso).
- Maintain a sense of urgency with a focus on detail, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
