job summary:
Structural Engineer for a leading global manufacturer and supplier. This role is responsible to perform structural analysis and provide design for industrial building/metal roof projects.

This is a direct hire opportunity to join a growing organization.

Role can be based either REMOTE or in Charlotte, NC. Relocation assisance is available.

responsibilities:

• Responsible for all structural engineering work for metal and steel buildings/roofing projects

• Review blue prints, construction details, and sales contract in order to produce accurate construction documents and bills of material.

• Must understand and interpret model building codes for projects design.

• Perform structural analysis and provide design for steel buildings.

• Handle all changes and problems related to product assigned.

• Perform technical duties for the company, both internal and external customers.

• Responsible for the entire product life cycle.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license

• Must have at least four (4) years of structural design experience

• Understanding of steel, concrete, and masonry structural systems

• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
