The role involves transforming raw data into meaningful insights by building robust ETL workflows, ensuring data quality, and supporting analytics, BI, and reporting needs.Key ResponsibilitiesETL Development & Data EngineeringDesign, build, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or similarExtract data from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud storage)Transform data according to business rules and load into data warehouses/data lakesDevelop reusable and scalable data workflowsData Management & QualityEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and integrityImplement data validation and cleansing logicHandle large datasets and optimize performance for batch and streaming processesCloud & Modern Data PlatformsWork with cloud platforms like Azure (ADF, Synapse), AWS (Glue, Redshift), GCP (Dataflow, BigQuery)Build and maintain data lake architecturesWork on ELT using SQL-based transformationsCollaboration & Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with Data Analysts, BI Developers, Data Scientists, and Business TeamsUnderstand data requirements and translate them into technical solutionsSupport reporting and dashboard needsPerformance Optimization & MaintenanceTroubleshoot ETL failures and data issuesOptimize pipeline performance and schedulingAutomate workflows and monitoring processes.The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $105,000 - $115,000Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
