PT Research Project Assistant

Position Overview The Part‑Time Research Assistant will report to the Director of the Center for Community Research and support tasks on a post‑viral grant‑supported project. Key Responsibilities Complete Center administrative tasks designated by the director. Train with the Research Project Coordinator on grants administration. Schedule appointments and interviews. Administer and conduct interviews with participants. Enter data. Assist in writing manuscripts. Participate in weekly research meetings. Qualifications College degree (B.A. or B.S.) required. Research experience in Psychology or a related social science field; interest in pursuing higher education. Some budgetary experience helpful. Reliable, task‑oriented, and self‑motivated. General computer knowledge and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and SPSS. Capable of coordinating daily tasks, communicating effectively, and working as directed. Strong writing skills. Compensation and Funding Salary range: $16.69 to $17.05 per hour, dependent on experience, education, and other factors including departmental budget.
