About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP/Director of Sales to spearhead the growth and management of a division sales function. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team focused on selling testing services into various industries, including pharmaceutical, medical device, environmental, and food. This role involves managing CRM, marketing, and all sales operations, as well as finding innovative ways to enhance salesperson enablement. The VP/Director of Sales will also be expected to assist in closing large deals and must have a proven track record of leading sales functions with a significant team and revenue. Applicants for the VP/Director of Sales position at the company should have experience in a similar leadership role, with a preference for those who have worked in a life sciences company. Experience in the testing industry is a significant advantage. The ideal candidate will have a background in setting up an enterprise sales function and be adept at managing a large sales team. The role requires a strategic thinker who can drive the division's sales growth and is capable of operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A strong focus on the customer and the ability to adapt to the needs of different industries is essential.
