About This Role The Registered Nurse in the LTACH setting provides comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to improving patient outcomes and thrive in a collaborative environment. Highlights Location: Perth Amboy, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop and coordinate a patient/family-focused plan of care. Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes. Adhere to established protocols and document events accurately. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program Licenses & Certifications: Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
