Asset Management Supervisor

Under broad supervision, performs duties related to Asset Management. Maintain adequate asset management records that comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Submit an accurate fixed asset report to the State Accounting Office, as required, based on the timelines mandated. Assure monthly reconciliations between AP payments and AM entries in PeopleSoft are completed in a timely manner. Assure Machinery and Equipment are inventoried bi-annually and corroborate with field personnel to verify existence. Work with the Real Estate unit to confirm land purchase price and other costs associated with purchase such as surveys, appraisals, legal fees and to verify documentation. Work with Engineering and Construction personnel to corroborate Buildings, Improvements other than Buildings, Intangibles and Construction in Progress to verify cost associated with contracts and construction. Supervises a Financial Operations Generalist position.

Bachelor's degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university AND Six years of experience related to area of assignment. Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.
