Aide Rehab Inpatient OT
A Brief Overview: Assists rehab staff with patient transport, care activities, set-up, clean-up, and clerical duties to facilitate the rehabilitation of people with physical and/or psychosocial disabilities.
What You Will Do:
- Assist physical therapist/occupational therapist directly with patient care
- Patient care support duties
- Departmental support and maintenance
Additional Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients
Qualifications:
Education: High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
Work Experience: Previous experience as nursing assistant or related area in a health care facility (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Able to understand all verbal and written communication instructions; able to record specific simple data (Required proficiency)
- Good time management and interpersonal skills. (Required proficiency)
- Physically, cognitively and perceptually able to provide patient treatment and able to assist in physical mobility of patients and equipment (Required proficiency)
