Construction Project Assistant

Job Description Job Description The Construction Project Assistant will support commercial construction projects by coordinating project activities and managing essential documentation. Reporting to the Operations Director and Project Manager, this role involves tracking schedules, assisting with budgets, communicating with vendors, and providing site support when needed. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word is expected, with occasional site visits and travel.
Responsibilities
Coordinate project tasks and schedules to ensure timely completion
Manage and maintain project documentation
Track project timelines and budgets to support financial oversight
Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to facilitate project needs
Provide on-site support as required for smooth project execution
Prepare regular reports on project status and quality control measures
Monitor permits and assist with permit tracking processes
Allocate resources efficiently to meet project demands
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years experience in construction project support
Associate degree in Construction Management or related field
Familiarity with construction scheduling and project documentation
Experience in budget monitoring and vendor coordination
Knowledge of permit management processes
Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
