Salinas Valley Post Acute is seeking a dedicated, full-time Cook to join our culinary team in Salinas, CA.
Job Overview- Full-Time Cook
- $21.63-22.00 per hour
- Friday through Tuesday (Fixed days off: Wednesday and Thursday)
- Prepare and cook meals according to prescribed therapeutic diets and textures.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Ensure meals are served timely, hot, and presented beautifully for our residents.
- Assist with inventory, restocking, and proper food storage.
- Experience cooking in a healthcare, senior living, or high-volume commercial kitchen preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food-handling practices.
- Ability to work reliably on weekends (Friday-Sunday).
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
