Job Description
TITLE
Instrumentation Coordinator - Central Sterile Technician

SCHEDULE
Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM (Monday - Friday) with occasional scheduled holidays

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience required
- Required certification: CRCST or CSPDT
- Preferred certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM
- Trauma Level II experience required; Level I preferred
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
- Experience with Censitrac tracking system required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and store instrumentation/trays
- Serve as a clinical liaison between operating rooms and central sterile supply
- Track and standardize instrument trays across the healthcare system
- Manage reprocessing of instruments and scopes, ensuring compliance with safety standards

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Strict credentialing deadlines; candidates must complete background checks immediately after contract signing
