Southern Land Company, a national real estate development and construction firm is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our dynamic team in Philadelphia, PA.

The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational and communication skills with a flawless attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work independently. Two years of experience in housekeeping a must. Professional standard of appearance and week-end hours required. Hourly rate range $20-$23 an hour.

The Alcott, located at 5th and Spring Garden Streets, is a 12-story mixed-use property. It features 329 rental residences, 111 bicycle stalls, and 87 parking spaces. Amenities include a co-working space, fitness center, dog spa, dog park with a bar, and a resort-style pool with cabanas. The Alcott seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor spaces, situated in an area rich with art, energy, and historic charm.

Primary responsibilities include cleaning common areas, resident apartments, and guest suites as scheduled, utilizing cleaning equipment and supplies.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience include the ability to keep sensitive information highly confidential, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, and carry multiple projects through to completion. Ability to work independently, prioritize work and ask for further clarification when necessary. Ability to work under pressure with tight time constraints, as well as the ability to deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Ability to lift/move 15 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. occasionally. Ability to anticipate housekeeping needs of the property.

Education and experience include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years practical experience, and Fair Housing training.
