HVAC Service Technician

We are looking for a HVAC Service Technician to become a valued member of our amazing team! Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems. Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity as per the standards of Advance Heating and Cooling. Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues related to HVAC equipment. Conduct system tests and inspections to verify proper operation and compliance with safety standards. Ability to thoroughly and professionally communicate to clients to explain findings, recommend solutions and provide accurate estimates for minor repairs and collect payments. Communicate when requests are needed for major repair and install quotes. Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work performed. Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations and mechanical codes. Maintain inventory of parts and supplies of personal service truck stock. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies and best practices Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Completion of an accredited HVAC technical program or apprenticeship. Valid HVAC certification (e.g., EPA Universal, NATE). 1+ years proven experience as an HVAC Technician Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of HVAC sales Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Purchase and maintain required tools- these are not provided, though they can be purchased through a company provided tool account. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions and confined spaces. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. Ability to withstand exposure to various temperatures and weather conditions. Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders, stoop, kneel and crawl.
